There are three specific types of calibration days: On-Site, Bag 'n' Tag and Group days
On-site Calibration Days
An on-site calibration day is where our engineers attend specific branches on scheduled days with our mobile calibration facility. This enables you to call in with your test equipment, get them calibrated and pick them back up later that day. Or if required while you wait! Therefore making it simple for customers to get equipment calibrated, without it being out of service for too long.
Please note not all units can be calibrated on-site. Some instruments may need to be returned to our laboratory for calibration; however we would always treat these as a priority and where possible would return them within 72 hours.
Bag 'n' Tag Calibration Days
Bag 'n' Tag calibration days are ideal for those customers who need units calibrated and require an express turnaround service. A customer can drop their instrument off before noon at a location where Bag 'n' Tag services are being held. These will then be sent to our laboratory for priority calibration and will be fully calibrated, labelled and certified and returned back to the branch within 72 hours.
Should any equipment be faulty and therefore unable to be calibrated ACS will be happy to offer a quotation for repair which will follow usually within one or two days.
The Calibration Day calendar provided allows you to pre-plan a time suitable to get your instruments calibrated at one of our On-Site or Bag ‘n’ Tag calibration days. Therefore you can benefit from our special discounted rates.
Group Calibration Days
A ‘Group’ calibration day is a very similar format to an “On-Site” calibration day. The difference being, that a group day incorporates a number of branches collating the instruments requiring calibration and taking them to a central point, where our engineers will be waiting to service them.
This enables a greater choice of branch locations for you to drop in your testers.
